Time flies and so does also the Seagull within soon.

All dear readers of this home page may interpret the lack of new information as there is no progress. Nothing could be more wrong. It’s just that all those previously considered “minor” items tend to multiply when you finally start treating them and this draws focus away.

What has happened beside that most of these “minor” items are fixed, is that we have taxied the whole and ready to fly airplane at various low speeds.

The double fan augmented cooling baffling that worked fine with the engine on idle, tend to block the air flow at higher rpm’s and we are step by step modifying this baffling in various ways to find a good all over function. It has been said before and I say it again, the information out of the Dynon FlightDEK-D180 is simply formidable. It feeds the lap top riding in the passenger seat with rivers of information that we afterwards can analyze second by second.

There are still some procedural activities containing paperwork, inspections that has to be completed before we can receive the flight permit.  We plan to complete this during the coming weeks.

My prediction is that next progress report will tell you about the first flight and of course that we have found that the LN-3 likes to be in the air.

Thanks for your interest.
