Yes, November has almost passed and no, the promised maiden flight has yet to be made. In other words, we are delayed like most other prototype developers but we do rather blame an overoptimistic estimation almost a year ago than the workshop performance. Even without much of comparison, we still doubt that so many high quality fiberglass/epoxy/steel molds have been made before with so little amount of spent man hours.

A nicely working plug milling device invention, certainly reduced the construction time of the wing, horizontal stab and flap/aileron molds by half.

All major molds are made at this time and we have started to make sharp components for verification of the stress calculations in the first place. Overweight, a problem at many levels in the modern society, is the real fret to every airplane designer/builder, large as small.

Recently made tests on a wing section showed that it was strong enough and also light enough and means that we can go ahead at full speed.

No more predictions of forthcoming first flights but we do promise to upgrade this home page more frequently. Even though mold making represents a major time consumer in composit prototype development, it is probably not of great interest for the web page visitor. Seeing the real airplane coming true definitely spurs our ambition to keep you dear home page visitor updated.

Welcome back!
