The test flying of Seagull
proceeds. New characteristic unintentionally discovered. The winter
tests of Seagull proceeds and suddenly one landing gear became frozen and
that gear was impossible to unfold . The other gear was quite OK to move up
and down. The test flight was conducted by Lage Norberg having
flown over 70 different types planes. He tried to bunt it out but the
mechanism remained frozen. He had to declare an emergency and the Tower pushed the ALARM button so
fire brigade, ambulance, and other SOS activities as Television, Press i.e.
was gathered at the Airport. Beside
the runway was thick smooth snow and Lage decided to make a landing in the
deep snow with retracted gears. He landed perfect in the snow without a
single scratch on the airplane. So Seagull has unintentionally become a
perfect Snowgull. Feel free to
